Grey Knit Coat (ZARA - sold out - see similar here)
Turtleneck Sweater (JENNYFER)
Grey Wrap Split Skirt (ASOS)
Dark Grey Over Knee Boots (PUBLIC DESIRE)
Grey Tote Clutch Bag (CHARLES & KEITH)
Grey See Through Tights (NEW LOOK)
Light Grey Gloves (PRIMARK)

I feel it in my fingers. I feel it in my toes… Cold weather is upon us.

I really find myself lucky to live in a place where winter visits us once a year. I love winter holidays, I love hot chocolate, I love to see how cold weather brings people together and I love long hugs to keep warm.

But unfortunately not all is joy and jolly in a cold season. For example, finding a cute outfit that works in this temperamental weather it can become very annoying. How can we manage to look effortlessly chic AND warm, without looking like a snow man? This is the big dilemma of each cold season, for us fashion challenged creatures.

Still, just because it’s winter, doesn’t mean we have to resign ourselves to giving up on style, it just means we all have to think a bit more creatively when getting dressed in the morning.

So this year, when the temperatures drop, instead of sacrificing style for comfort, start looking your best, by investing in a great looking coat. Go for a slightly oversized coat that you can easily wear with some layers underneath. Everybody owns a black coat, so why not stand out with a lighter outerwear color? Turn heads this season in a chic grey long line coat. Mine is from Zara and I simply adore its knit soft fabric – it screams warm and cosy. Moreover, the large collar gives a standout silhouette. And what I love the most about this item is its versatility: this coat fits with all types of looks - classy or casual.

Second trick: Let your boots steal the show. Show them off by pairing them with a wrap split skirt. Use them as a jumping off point to put together a great new inventive outfit, rather than just throwing them on with just anything.

Bonus trick: if you feel like this winter, all turns into age of ice, pair the wrap skirt with some jeans or pants underneath, instead of thights. It keeps the heath and the chic J

Chances are, you have a turtleneck somewhere in your winter wardrobe. This basic is having a major moment this season. Use it to complete any stylish look when freezing. This is also a great solution for people who don’t like to wrap up into big scarfs.

P.S : Stay warm, ladies! Stay warm…  Great style—even in the depths of winter—is very possible ;)

Ethnic Print Loose Kimono Jacket : DRESSLINK ( here )
Beige Asymmetric Layered Top : H&M  ( here )
Blue Skinny Jeans : BERSHKA
Nude V Bar Clutch : ASOS ( here )
Bird Shape Ring : MISS SIXTY
Nude Stilettos : LOUBOUTIN

I'm definitely becoming an ethnic jacket addict. And when a trend becomes a crush I must admit that I start to create an entire collection around it. In this rhythm, my wardrobe will soon become a museum :D

But how can I stop collecting them when chic ethnic jackets spice up any boring traditional look.
The jacket I'm wearing is from DRESSLINK and it instantly catched my eye wth its incredible pattern and colors

For a more harmonious result, I extended the colors of the jacket on the other articles of the outfit.
I love to layer so this is what I did with the top of my look, and I kept it chic by blending the bohemian of the jacket with elegant clutch and heels.

This kind of jackets are so versatile that you can wear them everywhere : from a simple walk to a night out with friends or lover (shoes make the difference).
It was also my choice of outfit for visiting the Confluence Museum at Lyon. There, I gave up to the heels and I opted for some nude flats : comfortable shoes are more appropiate for enormous quiet museums.

CULOTTES : The Trend Shock !

Grey Elasticized Back Culottes : FOREVER 21 ( here )
White Crop Top : BOOHOO
Patchwork Clutch : NEW LOOK
White Stilettos : Christian Louboution

It happens every season: The Trend Shock ! It’s that trend that you wish you could pull off without looking ridiculous, but you’re pretty sure is going to be a lost cause. Wearing culottes can be tricky, given its swingy volume and unpredictable length.

So, if you're into trying this trend, keep these 5 tips in mind, when shopping for culottes :
1. They are generally high-waisted, so they should fit around the waist to really accentuate it
2. Buy your first couple of pairs in classic colours that will pair with most of what you have in your closet
3. Go for a clean, simple style that’s not too voluminous at first—so you can get used to the look
4. If you’re bothered by the length, add a heel then look again
5. Culottes go best with a more slim cut, fitted or cropped top : tiny tops, tucked blouses, & bustiers help create a balanced silhouette

Have a wonderful shopping session !! kisses :*

FASHION TREND : Jumpsuits & Rompers

Chiffon Deep V-Neck Flower Print Jumpsuit : DRESSLINK ( here )
Dark yellow cami top : NEW LOOK ( here )
Rusty Brown Folding Clutch
Brown Sandals : NEW LOOK
Mid Finger Rings : MISS SIXTY

Rompers and jumpsuits have recently hit a new level of popularity.Still I must admit that this kind of trend was never on my taste: a romper can be very tricky to pull off for a small girl like me.
But I always wished that one day a romper could fit me because I found this item so comfortable and chic - it's really every lazy stylish girl’s dream! :))) All the rompers that I have tried, up to now, were whether too long, or too large... until recently... when I found my perfect match  <3
I'm talking about a pretty 60’s inspired jumpsuit with a slight dose of 70’s, that you can find on the site of DRESSLINK at a defying price
Super short, flirty, retro flower print, long sleeves, plunging neckline, this kind of item looks amazing with wedges and super high 70’s style heels. To enhance the retro-hippie vibe I used a thin twisted belt and my favorite folding clutch, in the same tones of rusty brown (the star color of fall)
What I love about this trend is that although at first sight it might seem very niche like, it’s pretty versatile. Like a flirty dress basically, which it actually looks like. It’s all about the cuts, styles, designs, colors, patterns, fabrics, length (varieties of short, way above the knee). All these will make some rompers great for music festivals, others for the beach, others for going out in the evening, others for casual weekends. It all depends on the romper AND the shoes.
Overall, the trend is really versatile — and that’s why you should totally try it out <3
